Whether your kids like to play shy or like to throw sand everywhere, we'll roll with it! Our family sessions are one hour long with 30+ edited images, focused on a mixture of candid and posed shots.
FAQ
I. Where do we take the photos?
Hawaii has become increasingly more strict with permitting laws to control for beaches becoming overpopulated. Because of this, we tend to stick to three locations (although. we do make exceptions from time to time!). Two of them are on the east side of the island (~25 minutes outside of Waikiki) and the other is in Waikiki to accomodate our clients who are staying in town and do not have a rental car. Although we are limited, the beaches we shoot at are STUNNING.
II. What comes with our session?
Each session is customizable to our individual clients; However, our investment page provides basic details for what the sessions generally look like and costs. We do offer additional edited photos for a very reasonable price if you would like more photos than the package has listed.
III. We want to include our dog into the elopement ceremony and photos, is that okay?
OBVIOUSLY.
IV. How long does it take to recieve the photos after the session and how will those be delivered?
We deliever photos to you within two weeks of your session but often times sooner depending on how much editing needs to be done.
V. Can we have the session at multiple locations?
We charge extra for multiple locations and don't generally encourage this for sessions in order to have more time at the location to capture the best shots. It's typically not worth it to spend half of your session driving/parking/getting settled. We offer locations with a variety of backshots (palm trees, waves, greenery, mountains etc.) to help make the photos look like they were taken in multiple places.
VI. Can I bring props and multiple outfit changes?
Yes! Bring anything you'd like to wear or use for the session! We encourage creativity and for you to express yourself in multiple ways. Bring whatever makes you feel most authentic!
VII. Do you provide transportation?
Unfortunately, we do not offer this service. If you are looking for a way to get to the location, the island has Lyft, Uber and Taxi services that are conveient and easy to use.
VIII. Do you work on other islands?
The short answer is yes. The longer answer is complicated... Yes, we can shoot on other islands, but our prices go up quite a bit to cover time and travel. Additionally, we may have. difficult time finding a date to get to the other island as we are often booked on Oahu every day.
